Hello, my name is leon modell and i am the owner and a photographer here at silkk expressions photography. i have been a photographer since 2006. But, oddly enough I began my career in photography even earlier than that - but not as a photographer. I was a model for a number of years doing fashion shows, print and hair shows. As a model i always had a fascination with what it would be like on the other side of the camera - behind it, as the photographer. that is where i began being a photographer - in my mind!
This has been quite a journey but i wouldn't trade it for anything. i love my work and i love working with people. you learn a lot about yourself when you work with people. as i tell my family, if i win the lottery for millions I would still be in the photography business - but with a bigger studio and bigger equipment! Seriously, i love photography and the business of photography - which is something a lot of people miss. so come on in to the studio for a visit or give me a call. let's create some great memories.
